History of the brand

The Sky Paragliders brand is the result of a merger between the company Sky Servis founded in 1988 in Slovenia and its counterpart in the Czech Republic. Since then the brand has been dedicated to the manufacture of paragliders using the latest technology to offer safe, reliable and high performance products. Building on its success in the early 2000s, the brand changed the scale of production and launched a new manufacturing plant in 2002, again in the Czech Republic, to keep all its skills in Europe.

How are Sky Paragliders made?

The manufacture of Sky paragliders is a meticulous process that begins with the selection of the most appropriate materials. Fabrics and lines are tested for tear and tension resistance to ensure maximum durability. The gliders are then designed using CAD software that optimises the use of the fabric. Each piece is then sewn by hand and there are numerous quality control steps throughout the process. Once the wing is completely finished, it is tested by inflating it, then packed and shipped.

You can find all the manufacturing steps on the official website of the manufacturer.

And if at the end of the 80's the brand started to manufacture the first 9-cell paragliders, it is now one of the recognised brands in modern paragliding with models such as the Apollo Bi two-seater and wings for beginners as well as for experienced pilots.

Rescue parachutes Sky Paragliders:

The Czech brand also offers a complete range of rescue parachutes covering all needs. From the classic round parachute such as the Sky System 3 or the lighter Sky Lite, through the square Quatro and Quatro Light rescue parachutes to the Quatro Light 160 rescue parachute for hang gliders and paramotors, the Sky Paragliders rescue range is truly comprehensive. Simply choose the model that matches your weight capacity to complete your equipment with a serious rescue with minimal sink rate.

An interesting choice of harness.

With well known paragliding harness models such as the Sky Reverse reversible harness and the skylighter cocoon harness for solo flights, the PAX evo and TWIN harness pair for tandem flights and not forgetting the Crux harness for walking and flying enthusiasts, Sky Paragliders meets all your expectations with quality equipment.
