It is therefore important to choose your accommodation carefully so that after a beautiful day in the mountains you can relax peacefully and be lulled by the singing of the birds or the sound of the wind in the trees. This is why we offer you here a selection of gîtes, hotels or campsites perfectly located in the heart of the Chaîne des Puys.
Accommodation in Laschamps at the foot of the Puy de Dôme!
Fancy enjoying a breathtaking view of the Puy de Dôme while having breakfast before heading off on a hike? Then try the Freedom Night experience, our gîte fully integrated into the paragliding school. With 3 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 12 people and a large living room, this gîte is available to you on an open-access basis, like a mountain refuge. You need to bring your own sheets and towels.
Price for the entire gîte: €120 per night during the week and €150 per night on weekends with a minimum reservation of 2 consecutive nights.

Marjo's Tiny House
Located in Saint-Gènes-Champanelle, Marjo's Tiny House is a small chalet with a view of the Puy de Dôme. Located in the commune of Olby, the Bravant rural gîtes, whether the Abri du Berger or the Pierres de Barme, will charm you with their character and impressive surface area.
The Abri du Berger and its 250m² can accommodate up to 15 people and the Pierres de Barme up to 10 people with its 150m².
Ideally located on the territory, you can also easily organize a visit to the Puy de Dôme as well as a hike in the Sancy.

What to do during your vacation or stay in Puy de Dôme?
Coming to Puy de Dôme is a guarantee of taking a breath of fresh air between mountains and rivers. You will discover incredible landscapes, climb dormant volcanoes and practice many outdoor activities. In summer, in the beautiful season, you can go hiking, mountain biking, via ferrata, climbing, horseback riding, paragliding, hot air ballooning, or simply go to see the mountain lakes like Lake Chambon or Lake Pavin. As for winter, once the snow arrives, you can go downhill skiing on one of the 3 Sancy areas, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding or simply build a snowman in front of your accommodation. You can also visit fortified castles like the Château de Murol or visit old fortified towns like Besse or spend a day at Mont Dore or Clermont-Ferrand to see this picturesque architecture made of black Volvic stone which is used to build the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral.
But Puy de Dôme is also an authentic gastronomy with delicious Auvergne cheeses such as St Nectaire, Cantal or Bleu d'Auvergne and must-try recipes such as truffade, a clever mix of mountain cheese and potatoes. And if you feel a little heavy after such a meal, don't hesitate to climb to the top of Puy de Dôme and its 1465 meters, the 360° panoramic view is simply magnificent.
